Dr. Cyrus (Professor) ED443G
Braille is a very useful device for people who are blind or having a vision loss. It is the primary medium of reading and writing using their sense of touch. Through the use of Braille, many people who are blind can access information faster and perform tasks that involve reading or writing effectively. It is an effective tool to use at school, workplace or anywhere. Knowing Braille makes it possible for people or students who are blind to read and take notes independently. Students can use Braille to write notes for presentation. People who work in a company can use Braille to write notes for presentation or speech. If more public establishments use Braille to accommodate people who are blind such as in a restaurant, people can order their favorite food without the help of a waiter. Living without a sight can be very difficult, however, with the use of assistive technology such as Braille is one way people who have lost their vision can still live as normal as possible.
